Image to PPT Converter

Image to PPT Converter is a desktop application that helps users convert selected images into editable PowerPoint presentations. The Pro add-on unlocks additional usage limits, such as creating decks with up to 10 images per batch.

Information We Process

The app may process the following information:

• Google AI Studio API key or Google Vertex AI configuration entered by the user.
• Images selected by the user for conversion.
• PowerPoint files selected by the user when using slide extraction features.
• Generated PowerPoint files and extracted image files.
• Local app settings, such as model names, workspace folder, timeout settings, and processing preferences.
• Microsoft Store purchase status for the Pro add-on.

How We Use Information

The Google AI Studio API key or Vertex AI configuration is used only to call Google AI services on behalf of the user. User-selected images may be sent directly to Google AI services for analysis and image processing. The app uses these results to generate editable PowerPoint files.

The developer does not operate a separate server to collect, store, or process the user's API key, images, PowerPoint files, or generated output files.

Local Storage

The app stores settings locally on the user's device. API keys and sensitive credential values are stored locally using Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI) when possible. Generated files are saved to the user's selected workspace folder or the default local Documents folder.

Users can delete generated files, settings, and saved credentials from their device at any time.

Third-Party Services

The app may communicate with the following third-party services:

• Google AI Studio or Google Vertex AI, when the user configures and uses their own Google API key or Google Cloud credentials.
• Microsoft Store, for purchasing and restoring the Pro add-on.

Use of these third-party services is subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not share user files, API keys, or generated content with our own servers. Data is transmitted only when needed to provide the app's functionality, such as sending selected images to Google AI services using the user's own API key.

Children's Privacy

Image to PPT Converter is not intended to collect personal information from children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use local Windows security features such as DPAPI to protect stored credentials where possible. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Users are responsible for keeping their own API keys and device secure.
