Image to PPT Converter

Image to PPT Converter is a local-first desktop application that converts images into editable PowerPoint presentations. The application includes optional AI-powered enhancement features using Google AI Studio or Vertex AI. The Pro add-on unlocks additional usage limits and advanced processing capabilities.

Information We Process

Google AI Studio API key or Google Vertex AI configuration entered by the user (optional, only when AI features are enabled).
Images selected by the user for conversion.
PowerPoint files selected by the user for slide extraction features.
Generated PowerPoint files and extracted image files.
Local application settings (workspace, model settings, processing preferences).
Microsoft Store purchase status for Pro add-on.

How We Use Information

The application works locally by default and does not require any external services for core functionality.

AI-powered features are optional. When enabled by the user and when a valid API key is configured, selected images may be transmitted to Google AI services for processing. This occurs only when the user explicitly enables AI functionality.

The developer does not operate any backend server and does not collect, store, or process user API keys, images, or generated files.

Local Storage

All data is stored locally on the user's device. API keys are stored using Windows DPAPI when possible. Users may delete all stored data at any time.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share user data. Data is transmitted to third-party services only when the user explicitly enables AI features and configures their own API key.

Children's Privacy

This application does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

API keys and local data are stored securely using system-level encryption (DPAPI where available). Users are responsible for safeguarding their own credentials.
